I am an Offie nominated Costume Designer, with a particular interest in costume for Musical Theatre and Dance based performance, but also design for plays and opera. I trained in Performance Design at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and graduated in July 2021.

While I am passionate about costume design for any performance with characters and people, I particularly love shows with music.

The costume designer has the power, and the responsibility, to bring a character to life for the audience before that character even speaks.  First impressions matter, and the first impression is often the costume.

A stunning visual spectacle, beautiful music, graceful dance; each can transcend the spoken word and take us directly to the heart of the story. Storytelling through music and movement is powerful precisely because it doesn’t rely on language – the drama is felt directly.
